How Do Coaching Sessions Work?

All coaching is exclusively tailored to your individual needs and goals. You can choose to work on a specific skill (e.g. write high quality essays in shorter time). Alternatively you might choose to develop one or more wider skills (e.g. improve your memory, pass exams, deliver better presentations, etc).

 

All coaching is underpinned by Rapid Cogitive Learning (RCL) - a powerful combination of accelerated learning processes, tips and techniques. RCL is specifically designed to quicken the pace at which you learn and achieve success. Sessions include a process of continuous assessment (goal setting, action steps and re-assessement) so you can evidence your performance improvements.

 

Sessions typically take place where A* STAR Coaching  is located in London Colney. This gives your Coach quick access to a range of resources that instantly support your particular learning needs. (Alternatively, coaching can be arranged to take place in your home, office or any other quiet place you may prefer. Such arrangements necessarily incur additional travel costs and expenses).

Session Duration and Frequency

An exclusive 1-to-1 private coaching session typically last 80 minutes. Sessions are optimal when held twice a month* This allows us to properly track and support the realisation of your plans for success. To make the most of your coaching, A* STAR Coaching recommends:

 

  • An initial 'INTRODUCTION to Accelerated Learning' programme (3 x 80 minutes)
  • Allowing a minimum of 5-7 days between sessions e.g. for practising new techniques
  • You bring nothing with you, but an open mind. And a desire to develop your potential.

How Long Is the Process?

Coaching deals with an intentional change of your learning behaviours. This does not necessarily happen from one day to the next. Some clients make coaching an integral part of their lives - and are coached for 6-18 months at a time to effect lasting changes. Perhaps right now you are only seeking help in a specific situation.
